Booking terms & conditions

Purpose

These terms govern bookings of the furnished tourist accommodation offered by MG LOCPRO (Les Cocons d'Oliana). They are made available to the client before payment.

Booking process

You select an accommodation, dates and the number of guests, then send a booking request. This request does not create a firm booking and does not block the dates on its own.

We check availability manually. If accepted, we send you a confirmation and a Stripe payment link. You accept these terms and pay 100% of the amount due. The booking becomes firm only once payment is actually received.

No payment is taken when the initial request is sent on the website.

Price & payment

The amount covers the accommodation, the cleaning fee, the tourist tax and any discounts, as shown in the applicable summary. Prices are in euros; VAT is not applicable.

The Stripe payment link corresponds to 100% of the stay. It is valid for 24 hours from the time it is sent; after that period, we may release the dates without notice.

A booking confirmation is sent by email once payment has been validated.

Security deposit

A security deposit, the amount of which varies by accommodation (200 à 300 €, shown on each listing), is taken as a Stripe card pre-authorisation, separately from the payment for the stay, on the day of arrival. It is not automatically charged.

It cannot cover a cancellation, a no-show or the normal price of the stay (already paid in full). It may be used only in the cases set out below.

Where there is no damage, cost attributable to the client or amount legitimately due, MG LOCPRO releases the pre-authorisation within 48 hours after departure. The actual return then depends on banking timeframes (Stripe and the client’s bank): MG LOCPRO does not guarantee that the funds or spending capacity reappear within that same period.

In the event of damage, deterioration, a missing item, abnormally heavy cleaning, a lost key or any other cost attributable to the client, MG LOCPRO may request a partial or full charge, limited to the loss actually justified and to the deposit amount. No amount exceeding the costs actually justified is charged.

Before any charge, the client is informed of the reason and the amount considered; MG LOCPRO provides the details of the claim and the available supporting evidence (photographs, invoices, quotes, a report, proof of purchase or any other relevant item).

Cancellation policy

Deadlines are calculated against the planned arrival date and time stated in the booking confirmation.

• Cancellation at least 7 calendar days before arrival: full refund of the sums paid for the stay.

• Cancellation less than 7 days but at least 48 hours before arrival: 50% of the total booking is retained; the remaining 50% is refunded.

• Cancellation less than 48 hours before arrival: no refund; the full amount remains due, save any mandatory legal provision to the contrary.

• No-show without prior cancellation: no refund; the full stay remains due, save any mandatory legal provision to the contrary.

• Cancellation after the planned arrival time is treated as a no-show and gives no right to a refund, save an exceptional commercial decision.

• Early departure decided by the client: nights not used are not refunded, save our written agreement or a mandatory legal provision.

Cancellation by us

If we are unable to provide the booked accommodation, the sums paid are refunded in full. Where appropriate, we may offer equivalent alternative accommodation; your mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.

Goodwill flexibility

At our sole initiative and without creating any right for future bookings, we may offer a postponement, a credit note, an exceptional refund or eased conditions in duly justified particular circumstances. This does not reduce the consumer’s mandatory legal rights.

Right of withdrawal

Under Article L221-28 12° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation services provided on a specific date or for a specific period. This exclusion results from the law.

Arrival, departure & house rules

Arrival from 5:00 pm; departure before 11:00 am. Each accommodation has a maximum capacity shown on its listing.

The accommodations are non-smoking; parties and events are not allowed; pets are not admitted.

Personal data is processed as described in our Privacy policy.

Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of any contradiction between the French and English versions, the French version prevails.

In case of an unresolved dispute, you may refer the matter to a consumer mediator whose details will be provided before the commercial opening of the website.
